Reese Witherspoon’s New Furniture Collection Will Transform Your Outdoor Living Space

Reese Witherspoon does more than act and run a successful women-first book club—she’s also the founder of Draper James, the popular lifestyle brand of clothing and home goods, all inspired by Southern charm.

Building on that success, the brand recently partnered with POLYWOOD to launch the most charming outdoor furniture line ever. Here’s what the Savannah Collection looks like and how it can elevate your backyard space with minimal upkeep.

About the Collaboration

Draper James and POLYWOOD share a commitment to quality craftsmanship, making this partnership a natural fit for durable outdoor furniture. Draper James also has deep roots in Southern hospitality and design, which helped infuse some charm to already functional pieces. 

“At Draper James, we’ve always found inspiration in the warm, welcoming nature of Southern hospitality, where gathering outdoors with family and friends is essential,” said Draper James president Jeannie Yoo in a press release. “With this collaboration, we aimed to create furniture that enhances outdoor living spaces and embodies the joyful spirit of togetherness that defines our brand.”

The collection, which launched in late February, encompasses several outdoor areas with options for dining, lounging in the back, or sitting on the front porch. The first set of furniture includes a bench, swing, rocking chairs, and coordinating kid furniture. The line will expand later in March to include chaise lounges, bar-height stools, and cushioned seating. 

How the Outdoor Furniture Is Made

Each piece of outdoor furniture from the Savannah Collection is made in the U.S. and includes a 20-year warranty. Materials include a “recycled lumber” product that is formed with reusable plastic and includes UV inhibitors to prevent fading. According to POLYWOOD, you could leave this furniture outside all year, regardless of the weather, and it won’t rot or crack. 

For each piece, you can pick from upwards of 11 colors (the green and navy are the perfect mix of moody and chic!). Finishes range from classic looks to a wire brush texture as part of the company’s vintage line.

We looked at several furniture styles on the collection’s website, and two stood out the most: a rocking chair and a porch swing that will elevate your front-of-the-home relaxation. Here’s a closer look at each. 

Savannah Rocking Chair, Green

This vintage rocking chair is made for a rustic wrap-around porch—only it’s built to last much longer than antique wood. The site described it (and other pieces in the collection) as a love letter to Southern charm and hospitality.
