Trump and Melania’s unusual sleeping arrangements at Windsor castle revealed

The couple could have shared a room without the president disturbing the first lady’s sleep upon returning from late-night engagements

During their U.K. state visit, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania are reportedly sleeping in separate suites.

A palace insider revealed to the Daily Mail that the couple have chosen to enjoy their own rooms for some privacy, even bringing their own beddings from the U.S.

This is President Trump’s first state visit to the U.K. during his second administration.

Fortunately for the couple, Windsor Castle boasts over 1,000 rooms including state apartments, chapels, offices, and private chambers. It comes after Kate Middleton used a clever tactic to ‘woo’ Trump at dinner.

Rumors about the couple’s separation have been circulating for months. Melania primarily resides in New York while Trump remodels the White House in his image down in Washington, D.C.

However, the couple’s choice to sleep in separate suites could be a trend at Windsor, as the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip reportedly had their own separate sleeping quarters, while King Charles and Queen Camilla keep separate residences.

Trump’s suite was reportedly tidied up before his arrival at Stansted Airport on Tuesday, hinting that the Royal bedding wasn’t up to par, according to the Ephraim column.

The president’s team then supplied housekeepers with his preferred bed linen.

It comes as Melania Trump causes a stir in a yellow gown as critics spot ‘inappropriate’ detail.
